Best CrossFit Memory

When I moved to Italy for softball, I felt very alone and homesick. Once I joined the crossfit gym there they took me in as their own, drove me places, and always made sure to speak as much English as they could. They really made me feel welcome, and it made my time in Italy so much fun

Coaching Goals

Helping people realize their athleticism. So many times people come in and struggle bad with the movements, and then turn around and they’re doing butterfly pull ups and double unders. Also, helping with their nutrition. It’s something I have really had to work hard on, and I found what works best for me.

Meredith grew up in Jackson, Ms where she competed in a wide variety of sports including tennis, basketball, competitive cheerleading, and softball. She attended Jackson Preparatory School where she started CrossFit her sophomore year in order to help her achieve her goal of a softball scholarship to a division 1 program.  She achieved high softball honors at Jackson Prep including breaking records such as career home runs (24) and single season wins (36) as well as being named the Clarion Ledger’s Miss Softball for the year of 2010. She led the Patriots to four state championships. Meredith fulfilled her dream of playing division 1 softball when she signed with Stetson University in DeLand, Fl. Throughout her career she continued to do CrossFit in the summers and through the off-season to prepare her to play at the highest level of softball. This preparation enabled her to become a four time All-Atlantic Sun conference selection and was chosen on the third team all-america her senior year. Also, she led the Hatters to their first conference championship since 2007 in 2014 along with their first regional tournament win ever.  During her time at Stetson she interned with the Stetson Strength and Conditioning program to further her knowledge in Olympic weightlifting as well as programming. After college Meredith continues to do CrossFit in order to fulfill the competitive spirit that she experienced while playing softball.
