Tell us a little about yourself.

I’m Originally from Laurel MS. Lived in the Jackson Metro area for about 12 years. I’m married with a daughter that is almost 2. When I can find time I enjoy playing golf.

What were you doing before CrossFit?

Traditional Weight Lifting and running

What were your thoughts after your first WOD?

It was a strictly running WOD so I felt really good about it. The next day was a WOD with burpees and rowing and I didn’t feel good about that.

What were your goals when you joined Coyote?

Mainly to challenge and push myself

Have you achieved any of these goals?

I have learned to really push through some of the harder WODs

Has CrossFit affected your life outside of the gym?

Little injuries like hamstring or groin pulls don’t happen as often as they used to. I attribute that to strength training and always stretching before and after WODs.

Do you have any special memories/achievements during your time at Coyote?

Getting my fist bar Muscle Up

What advice would you give someone just starting at Coyote?

Be coachable. Listening to suggestions and asking question have really helped me. Anything from technic in lifts to how to pace a WOD.
