Tell us a little about yourself.

I have been married to Lou Ann for over 20 years.  We have 3 boys, ages 17, 14, and 12.  I am an RN at GI Associates and Endoscopy Ctr.  I love to hunt and fish and do anything outdoors. 

What were you doing before Crossfit?

Getting fat

What were your thoughts after your first WOD?

I really liked the fact I don’t have to think about what to do-it’s always on the board. I enjoyed the competitive nature of the sport between myself and the clock

What were your goals when you joined Coyote?

To maintain a healthy lifestyle 

Have you achieved any of these goals?

Yes! I now have a daily exercise routine. 

Has Crossfit affected your life outside of the gym?

Yes, it has allowed me to meet a group of men that have formed a Bible study group once a week and help hold each other accountable, study the Word of God, and not only praying for the needs of others but helping meet the needs of each other within the group. 

Do you have any special memories/achievements during your time at Coyote?

The Murph in under 35 minutes. Dead lift of 495. Doing the WOD as a pregnant woman. 

What advice would you give someone just starting at Coyote?

Start slow, learn good form, keep coming back!

I rode in a hot air balloon over the Serengeti desert.
